God As Author

If you are a blogger, then writing is not a new concept for you. Have you ever thought of God as an author?

writing Pictures, Images and PhotosGod is the author of all words. He not only wrote the Bible, through man's hands, but He is writing a story using each one of us. Our very lives are stories being written by the God of the Universe.

If your life is in a good place right now, this concept will seem natural to you. But what happens when things go wrong in your life? Is God still the one writing your storyline? Absolutely!

Even when we fall into sin ourselves, God is there to use that "line" or event in His ultimate plan for our life. That's why He wrote:

Romans 8:28, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

There are times, especially when others betray us, that we think we are all alone, and that our lives are a mistake. Be encouraged that every word of your life has been planned out by God. Even if you don't feel His presence, He is always there. So no matter what life has dealt you, press on toward finishing the race. Just as Paul wrote:

"Forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the heavenly call of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:13-14 (NRSV)

Bus Ride: The Good Old Days

Mode: Cuti Pertengahan Semester 2 2010/2011 (29th January 2011-6th February 2011)

It's always a problem for The Author to think about what should be done during Cuti Semester. For most, the cuti semester is the time to balik kampung. While for The Author, as his kampung is just 30 minutes of not-so-challenging road rempit-ing, the balik kampung activity is really not much of excitement.

Sometimes (MOST OF THE TIME), The Author just wish that his kampung is far enaugh that he can experience beli tiket bas, tunggu bas di Greenwood and naik bas di tengah malam. *sigh*

And those wishes bring back the good old memories of having to do all the mentioned stuff. Back then when The Author was in his secondary school in a state "far-far" away from his home, he has to take buses to get home. By buses. The Author really means a LOT of buses. *giggle*

So the story begins...
First up, from the school to Perhentian Bas Pekan, The Author will have to take, if there was, Bas Mansor. Having to scramble in the bus with over 400 hundreds other students, The Author would say that as a very unforgetable moment in his school years. Despite of the many students, with their extra large luggages, we all safely arrived to the Perhentian Bas Pekan. Looking back, rasa nak gelak pun ada ... :P

The Perhentian Bas Pekan: A Place to Lepak, Makan, Hisap Rokok... While waiying for the bus.

That was just the first challenge. Perhentian Bas Pekan awaits with a more challenging situation. Now, all students from the district will have to fight for their place, be it to sit or to stand, in the bus. There are hundreds of students running for their right to get home by bus. The worst would be the Chini-Pekan MARA Liner. With almost all students in Pekan are from Chini, the bus get crowded very fast. At a time, there may be over 70 people in the bus even the maximum number of passengers were only ... uhm ... 40(?). The Author was lucky though. He is not in need to take the MARA Liner. Instead, he took the Pekan-Kuantan BEE HUAT to satisfy his destination. And there goes a 45 minutes bus ride from Pekan to Kuantan, witnessing the beuty of nature i.e the pokok kelapa, sawah padi, rumah2 kampung, hutan... and above all, chicks from other school along the way. It was lovely.

The BEE HUAT: A Bus That Never Fails. Unless it stopped to refill it's tank. It would take over half an hour.

The BEE HUAT will back then stop at Benteng. From there, The Author will have to walk for about... uhm... 7 kms(?) to get to the Terminal Makmur. For The Author is a fat lazy person, he often took the cab to get his ass to the Terminal. He then will have to queue to get his ticket to Kuala Lumpur. If it happened to be his lucky day, he can get a bus that move right away at the very time. However, more oftenly he has to wait for some times even for nearly for four hours to get in the bus. The bus ride from Kuantan to Kuala Lumpur back then took four hours with an hour stop in Temerloh.

The tedious (is it?) journey is not yet over. As The Author arrived in Kuala Lumpur, he will have to, again, wait for another bus to get him back to his humble home in Sungai Buloh. This time, the bus he's waiting is the SELANGOR OMNIBUS. To his curiosty, the bus is always there waiting for passengers. Don't the bus driver has anything else to do?

The SELANGOR BUS: The Author simply hate this bus. No Offence.

Kuala Lumpur to Sungai Buloh is a very tedious journey. With the massive trafic of Kuala Lumpur, the supposed 30 minutes bus ride could be very lenghty. At one time, The Author use to stuck in the ______ bus for more than two hours.

Then finally, after the long journey, The Author arrive home. That was the routine for him for nearly five years in school. As the Author is now, he really misses the balik kampung day. Now, the nearest thing that he can do to live up with the memories is by sending his friends and waving good buy to those who going back to their kampung. At least, even just with that litle act, he can still smile and hope to someday that he could be in the bus... again.

SELAMAT BERCUTI KAWAN-KAWAN :)

1st on the Line... WELCOME!!

"I just wish that i can have something or even anything on my head to be posted right now for the first entry..." Akhmal, 2011.

Starting up the new blog with a citation of words from the wise. A philosopher of life with seriously insane point of view...

And here goes...

I found it to be really hard to start on something. A clear example can be seen from Subject A i.e The Author. He has been wondering all night long thinking for the most appropriate issue for his first post. In the end though, he finally came out with his stupid first entry.

For those who read, sorry for the post is a waste of time. This is just the introduction to introduce the new blog. Nothing very special about it. Nevertheless, Thank You for reading.

But later on, this blog is hoped to be one of among the many blogs that the reader will enjoy reading.
